don't already have Spybot Search and Destroy installed on your computer system please download it here.
Spybot is one of the top rated program for removing Spyware from your computer and blocking its return. There are three main
steps to using Spybot, Update Spybot, Immunize with Spybot and Scan with Spybot. All three should be
done in order for complete protection from Spyware.

Updating Spybot

Step 1 : On the main window of Spybot click the button to update Spybot.

Step 2 : On the updater window you can click continue to use the default server for downloading.

Step 3 : Check all the boxes to download all available updates for Spybot and click the Download button.
|
Step 4 : Once the download is complete click ok on the information message and the click the exit button.

Immunize with Spybot
|
Step 1 : On the main window click the Immunize button to check how up to date your protection is.
|
Step 2 : If the Protected and Total numbers are not the same and Unprotected is not 0 then click the Immunize button.

|
Step 3 : When Unprotected is 0 immunization is complete.
|
Scanning for Spyware with Spybot
|
Step 1 : On the main window you can either click the Check for Problems button or the Search and Destroy Button
to start a scan. If you click the Search and Destroy button you will need to click a Check for Problems button
on the next screen.

Step 2 : When the scan is finished you will either see a green check mark saying Congratulations in which case you are
finished and can exit Spybot or you will see some items in red as in our picture. Click the Fix Selected Items button to
remove problems from your system.

Step 3 : Click yes to confirm that you want to remove the problems.
|
Step 4 : Click Ok at the confirmation message and you are finished and can exit Spybot.
